Benefit & Risk Management Services (BRMS) announced Friday that it has received Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) certification which is recognized as the most rigorous, global payment card data security standard. The PCI-DSS certification makes BRMS one of only a handful of Third Party Administrators to achieve the comprehensive standards.
“Data protection and security has always been a top priority at BRMS” emphasized Chief Executive Officer Matthew Schafer. “Achieving PCI compliance further demonstrates our ongoing commitment and investing in providing the most secure TPA services. In our ongoing focus to streamline benefits administration we want to assure our clients that, not only are we complaint with the PCI-DSS standard, but we take their employee information and data seriously.”
The PCI -DSS was a collaborative effort founded by five major credit card brands to develop an efficient approach for securing payment card data to prevent credit card fraud, “hacking” and other types of security issues.
To become PCI-DSS compliant, BRMS underwent a comprehensive examination of its policies, procedures, and technical systems. Achieving this level of PCI-DSS compliance verifies that clients can be confident that BRMS adheres to rigorous security standards, which include maintaining the proper security policies, procedures, and regulations to reduce credit card theft and fraud.
Since its founding in 1993, BRMS has focused on delivering reliable, innovative products that benefit its clients’ bottom line and efficiencies. BRMS clients, among the countries leading companies, use it internet based benefit administration technology to help cut benefit management time, costs and paperwork by automating and centralizing the entire employee benefits process.
