Promotions and Additions to the BRMS Family
We are very pleased to announce several personnel changes within our team here at BRMS!
Promotions
Our Human Resources (HR) Director, Stacie Lautrup, has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Human Resources, and DeAnn Prefling has been promoted to Vice President of Client Administration. Both Stacie and DeAnn, who together have over 30 years of experience at BRMS, are excited about their new roles.
“BRMS has a long history dating back to the early 1990s and we continue to push into new geographies and markets each year. In order to do that, we need to attract the best and brightest professionals who our clients want to work with every day,” said Stacie. “A strong Human Resources team can help attract and retain those professionals, and I am looking forward to working with leaders across the company on strategic HR opportunities as we continue to pursue our mission and growth of the organization.”
In DeAnn’s own words, “Working directly with our clients to help them plan and implement self-funded health plans and to watch them accomplish their mission has been one of the most positive and rewarding experiences of my life.”
New Hires
Along with these promotions of current employees, we have also added two fantastic new members here at BRMS. John Kilday has joined the team as Director of Client Services, and Dawn Goodman has joined as a Compliance Officer.
John Kilday has spent well over 25 years in the world of benefits. Throughout those years, he has gained valuable experience working closely with carrier and TPA partners. His primary focus is to guide companies, enrollees, and team members with data and the story it tells in the most efficient way possible. In his spare time, John enjoys playing golf, riding his bike, and spending time with his family, which added their newest member, his grandson Jack, in May of 2020.
“My priority is to not only continue to support the important mission of Benefit & Risk Management Services, but I also aim to bring additional innovative solutions to our clients,” said Kilday. “I look forward to my new role, and I am eager to hit the ground running.”
For over two decades, Dawn Goodman has held operational and compliance leadership positions with TPAs in Utah and California. Most recently, she operated her own compliance consulting firm, where she advised and collaborated with plan sponsors, brokers and TPAs, including BRMS. Dawn received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco, both with an emphasis on healthcare administration. She is also certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) with the Health Care Compliance Association.
Please join us in congratulating Stacie and DeAnn on their new positions, and in welcoming John and Dawn to the BRMS team!
